George Carlin never fails to impress.

“Its all bullshit and its bad for you” - George Carlin

In the HBO special he goes into topics such as being old, death, parents, society, patriotism, religion and politics. Sure you can say he has covered it all this before but after 14 comedy specials what is left to cover? And he does provide a new twist on all of the topics so it isn’t like its old material.

I’ve come to notice that not only is George Carlin hilarious but is an important asset to society because he frequently reminds us how almost everyone is full of shit. Perhaps it is not something many like to hear but it is absolutely true. Everyone is full of shit.

“I have a very low tolerance of stupid bullshit.” - George Carlin

Bingo. This is something I can directly relate to. This is the simplest method of presenting my frustrations with the world and many of the people I encounter on a day to day basis. That’s not to say I don’t encounter people I enjoy being around. Its just that I get really pissed off at stupid bullshit. However, when I get pissed at stupid bullshit that simply means I’m full of shit for letting it effect me. Sounds a little bit confusing but I’m sure you know exactly what I am talking about.

“Next time you are at the computer get on the Internet and go to Wikipedia. When you get to Wikipedia, in the search field for Wikipedia, I want you to type in ‘Japanese Americans 1942′ you’ll find out all about your precious fuckin’ rights.” - George Carlin

You can argue that 1942 was a long time ago, but in the larger picture… not really. We have some new technology, information and products travel a bit faster but things aren’t really that different. Government still doesn’t care about you or your rights. And George is right, we don’t even have rights to begin with. Rights can’t be given and can’t be taken away. What we have are a collection of privileges that diminish over time. Your government, no matter where you live, will either grant you privileges or take away privileges depending on what best suits the survival of their system of control over you. It doesn’t matter what best serves you.

The game is fixed. It is impossible for us to play in the first place because we don’t even know the rules. We know how things are supposed to work but as time passes you’ll realize that something is seriously wrong and things are not working as they should. How the hell are we supposed to participate in something we as a whole are totally clueless on. We can’t. It doesn’t matter if you vote Democrat or Republican this upcoming election. It doesn’t matter. Flip a coin, roll a die. Hey, place a bet on whoever you think will win instead of voting. Might as well make some money in the process. Either way we are going in the wrong direction. Iraq is just a distraction from bigger issues.(Yes there are bigger issues than Iraq) Either way we are going to be heading down a road of decreased civil liberties, decreased standard of living, a failing education system and a plummeting economy paired with a grossly gigantic national debt.

If you’re brainwashed enough to think you should vote for Clinton, Obama or McCain just pick whichever asshole you’d rather see on the news for the next four years. That is basically what it boils down to. If you want to attempt to make a difference, either don’t vote or vote for someone other than a Democrat or Republican. Not even like that will matter because too many people buy into this dishonest illusion that their vote counts and they are going to be voting for someone that will be looking after them. Don’t expect things to get any better. Whenever a good man or woman arrives they will be shot down by the system. If you need proof of that you can look at Ron Paul. Perhaps the only man provably honest in American politics and the grand ol’ American political machine shoots him down. He was either completely ignored or in the cross hairs of the mainstream ever since the start of the presidential race. Americans follow the mainstream media almost as if it were divine knowledge beamed down from above so it is not really much of a surprise. Whatever you do just enjoy your stay while you still can. Try not to let people piss you off with their stupid bullshit. If that is impossible just avoid them whenever possible.

its also comforting to know that there are others out there who aren’t completely oblivious to what is actually going on. I randomly stumbled upon this blog by accident but its like im reading my own thoughts.

    Cheers
